Spread Your Wings: Akshay’s Key To Building Confidence
Here at IHG, we appreciate the need to support our people and enable them to be the best version of themselves. We work hard to create a welcoming, inclusive company culture that enables individuals to put their stamp on things. Because at the end of the day, it’s our staff that make our hotels so exceptional. It’s so important to not only recognise our people’s achievements, but give them the room to develop their skills even further. They’re given the chance to excel and are appreciated for everything they bring to the table, and Akshay is the perfect example of this.
He’s been with the company for over three years now, and having worked in several hotels, he’s had a taste of what it’s like to gel with different teams.Akshay shares his thoughts on working with IHG so far and sheds light on why he thinks we’re such a supportive and positive place to work.
What do you love most about working for IHG?
I’ve worked for IHG for around three years, and I’ve spent time working at three different hotels. So I’ve got a pretty good idea of what it’s like to work at the company. One of the things I think most stands out is the company culture, which is such an important part of any job. Here, I can be myself and contribute to the company culture in my own unique way. IHG allows me to be myself and I’m very grateful for that.
Has working at IHG helped you in your career?
IHG lets you spread your wings as far as they can stretch.I have always had the support when asked, the push when needed and the learning and development when required.
What skills have you learned working at IHG?
