What You’ll Do
You will define and deliver the EMEAA sales vision - aligning teams, strategy, and execution to accelerate revenue and strengthen IHG’s position across every brand and market.
- Set a clear, compelling strategy for Global Sales in EMEAA, aligned to enterprise goals and focused on revenue growth, market share, and brand performance
- Design and refine sales strategies that improve customer portfolio performance, profitability, and long-term value
- Provide strategic and operational leadership to a high-performing sales organisation, alongside and through your direct reports and regional leadership across a team
- Strengthen leadership capability through hiring, succession planning, and performance management
- Build and lead a high-performing, multi-layered sales organisation, guiding senior leaders and inspiring a large, regionally dispersed team to deliver accountability, engagement, and results
- Lead cross-region collaboration, unlocking new opportunities and embedding best practices across global teams
- Oversee financial planning, resource deployment, and operational performance to maximise efficiency and return on investment
- Elevate strategic account management, driving growth across corporate, Groups & Events, government, luxury, and leisure segments
- Lead the full account lifecycle - from strategy and RFPs to agency engagement and B2B marketing activation
- Optimise sales coverage and resource allocation to ensure maximum commercial impact
- Set ambitious targets and drive accountability for revenue, room nights, and market share
- Act as the voice of the customer, ensuring insights shape strategy and issues are resolved quickly and effectively
What You Bring
- Extensive and progressive sales leadership experience in a regional / global or multi-hotel corporate settings, including strategic and tactical program development.
- Proven experience leading senior leaders and large, regionally dispersed teams, including leadership of direct reports and indirect oversight of broad sales organisations
- Track record of delivering growth through complex, large-scale sales programmes
- Strong commercial acumen with deep understanding of market dynamics and hotel operations
- Expertise in sales strategy, performance metrics, and CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce)
- Experience with hotel systems and operational frameworks
- Exceptional communication and influencing skills at executive level and within a matrix environment
- Ability to lead large, diverse teams and drive performance through clarity and accountability
- Data-driven mindset, using insights to shape strategy and deliver results
- Degree in Hotel Management, Business, Marketing, or related field - or equivalent experience
