The Role

This is a fully operational position working across days, nights and weekends, with responsibility for both people leadership and commercial outcomes.

You will:

  • Be the face of Terrigal Beach House

  • Lead, engage and support a large team of up to 70 team members

  • Set the tone on the floor through visible, values-led leadership

  • Build strong team culture that drives service standards, repeat visitation and revenue

  • Manage labour effectively to support strong flow-through to GOP

  • Understand budgets, wage controls and operational panels

  • Plan ahead for peak periods, events and seasonal trade to protect service and profit

  • Coach leaders to lift capability, accountability and performance

  • Build strong relationships with locals and regular guests

  • Ensure compliance with licensing and venue requirements through consistent leadership

This role is about leading people well, so the business performs well.

 About You

You are a leader who:

  • Has experience in large, high-volume hospitality venues

  • Is comfortable working weekends and nights

  • Leads with honesty, integrity and sound judgement

  • Understands the link between people engagement, revenue and GOP

  • Builds trust through consistency and clear communication

  • Is confident managing labour, costs and service delivery at scale

  • Enjoys developing people and creating future leaders

  • Is hands-on, visible and calm under pressure

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Current RSA and ARCG (essential)

  • Licensee qualifications (highly regarded, not essential)

  • Strong operational and commercial understanding

  • Experience leading large teams in fast-paced environments
