Your day to day:
• You will be responsible for the efficient and optimum use and assist in installing, networking, training and maintaining the below systems: Property Management Systems, Back Office Accounting System, Point of Sales System, All operating systems including Active Directory, Sales & Catering System, Hotel Inventory System, E-Mail System, Electronic Key System, PABX Programming / IP Telephone, Call Accounting System, Voice Mail Programming, In-Room Entertainment Programming / IPTV, Audio Video system, Payroll Personnel Timekeeping, Materials Management System, Guest Quality Management System, HSIA, Database
• Help the Director of IT to maintain a full up-to-date inventory for all hardware including Access Points, Printers, Workstations, Switches, Monitors, etc including the telecommunications related computer equipment’s. Detailing Purchase date, Price, Serial Number, Model Number, expected replacement date and maintenance where applicable.
• Help the Director of IT to maintain a full up-to-date Software list including all operating systems backed up by the original licenses or invoice, detailing Software licenses, Purchase date, Price (where applicable), release number, and maintenance (where applicable)
• Help the Director of IT to maintain a full up-to-date inventory per PC, all Software applications installed including location and release number.
• Help the Director of IT to maintain a full up-to-date schematic diagram, identifying all main systems including interfaces, reservation system, E-Mail and Call Accounting System.
• Help the Director of IT to maintain a full up-to-date schematic diagram; identify all cabling routes and clear & exhaustive labeling.
• Help the Director of IT to maintain a full up-to-date diagram or listing identifying all patching information for the IT Patch Panel(s). (Fully documented) for deployment and maintain HSIA including Wi-Fi where appropriate, as per brand requirements to generate revenue and improve the services to the Hotel.
• Responsible for deployment and maintain IPTV to generate revenue and improve the service to the Hotel when it is brand appropriate.
• Help the Director of IT to maintain a full up-to-date IT Emergency Plan. It should be agreed with all Department Heads and cover all critical system.
• Help the Director of IT to maintain full up-to-date systems full set of manuals in IT Department.
• To help managing the capacity planning of the servers & tape\cloud back-up.
• To help managing and testing the Disaster Recovery Plan. (Reloading of back-up, live test of UPS…).
• To assist managing the physical security of any computer room, internet access.
• To stay up-to-date with technology change, trends and future in the hospitality industry and in general
• To share any experience with the rest of the team
• To help managing the improvement the quality of Guest Experience on Internet & TV Services.
• To help managing the improvement the quality of Guest Experience on AV Services.
• To ensure hotel AV equipment’s are in working conditions
• To lead & develop the team by involving & providing all the trainings and document all the information’s required.
• To attend and encourage the team as well to attend all kind of trainings or meetings offered by Hotel.
• To assist in managing an IT Audit of the hotel following IT Audit document provided by the Divisional Office.
• Any other responsibility given by Director of IT
What we need from you:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT, or related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in IHG Hotel & Resorts as a System Administrator or IT Supervisor.
• Knowledge of Linux/Windows OS, networking, and lab IT infrastructure
• Familiarity with Hotel Systems and requirements.
