Operational Ownership

In this role, I will assume full responsibility for the efficient operation of all guest experience tasks to provide exceptional products and services within brand operating standards. 

I will assist to ensure that all set policies, procedures, best practices are in place and rigorously enforced. A high standard of personal appearance, grooming and hygiene, plus comprehensive knowledge of safety, security and emergency procedures will be maintained in line with brand and statutory requirements. All activities within the department will be carried out ethically, honestly and within the parameters of local law. 

An important part of the role is to interact with guests and hosts in a professional, courteous and positive manner and proactively seek feedback. I am responsible for an exceptional guest experience from arrival to departure. In the event of guest complaints, I will effectively carry out service recovery or charge our hosts to do so to the satisfaction of guests. 

I have full knowledge of all facilities and services offered by the resort including all room categories as well as their location and layout, credit policy of the hotel and reservation coding. 

I will perform the following relevant tasks for this role: 

  • Manage Earth Lab operations (Weekly activity calendar, on-demand workshops, creation of new workshops, inventory, stock re-ordering, cleanliness, amenity production, revenue generation) 

  • Manage sustainability program (Sustainability host of the month, zero bin day and more)

  • Train new hires and current host all sustainability trainings

  • Involvement with Waste Management, ensuring team has the necessary equipment to operate seamlessly 

  • Assist with the GSTC application & other necessary paperwork to Home Office 

  • Enriching of Sustainability-related Mission Wellness offering for hosts  

  • Close collaboration with Wellness team (Alchemy bar, outdoor activities, curated experiences, etc) if necessary 

  • Assist Experience team where necessary, leading Out of the Ordinary experiences, following up with guests 

  • Increase integration of Sustainability philosophy in all guest journey 

  • Increase guest-facing visibility of the Sustainability Fund, learn to communicate the value of these projects 

  • Engage with various Sustainability Fund partners 

  • Sustainability is a very diverse job with myriad possibilities, candidate must remain open minded and expect to work cross-departmentally daily
