We’re searching for a Stewarding Supervisor to lead our stewarding operations, maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene, and ensure our Culinary and Food & Beverage teams have the support they need to deliver outstanding guest experiences at Crowne Plaza Kathmandu Pulchowk.

A little taste of your day-to-day:

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:

● Supervising the daily stewarding operations to ensure efficient cleaning, sanitation, and availability of all kitchen equipment, utensils, crockery, cutlery, and glassware
● Leading, coaching, and motivating stewarding colleagues to maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and operational discipline
● Organizing and monitoring the dishwashing and cleaning operations to ensure timely availability of equipment and serviceware for Culinary and Food & Beverage operations
● Coordinating closely with Culinary, Food & Beverage, Banquet, Engineering, and other departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations
● Monitoring the cleanliness and sanitation of kitchens, back-of-house areas, equipment, floors, storage areas, and other assigned spaces
● Ensuring proper handling, storage, and care of kitchen equipment, utensils, crockery, cutlery, glassware, and other operating supplies
● Monitoring the use and replenishment of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and stewarding equipment while ensuring proper handling and storage
● Assisting with inventory control, stocktaking, requisitions, and maintaining adequate levels of stewarding supplies and equipment
● Ensuring proper waste segregation, disposal, recycling, and overall cleanliness of waste handling areas in accordance with hotel and local requirements
● Conducting regular checks to ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, sanitation, health and safety, and chemical handling standards
● Supporting the setup and execution of banquets, conferences, weddings, and special events by ensuring adequate equipment, serviceware, and operational support
● Conducting briefings, allocating daily duties, monitoring attendance, and ensuring adequate staffing across shifts
● Identifying equipment or operational issues and coordinating with the relevant departments for timely resolution
● Supporting training and on-the-job coaching of stewarding colleagues to improve operational standards and service readiness

What We need from you:

● Diploma or higher education qualification in Hotel Management, Hospitality, Food & Beverage Management, or related field preferred
● Minimum 3-5 years of Stewarding or related Food & Beverage experience within a hotel environment, with supervisory experience preferred
● Strong knowledge of stewarding operations, kitchen hygiene, sanitation, dishwashing, and back-of-house standards
● Good understanding of food safety, hygiene, chemical handling, waste management, and workplace safety requirements
● Good leadership and people management skills, with the ability to supervise, motivate, and guide a diverse team
● Excellent communication, organizational, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
● Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hotel environment and manage multiple operational priorities
● Strong attention to cleanliness, hygiene, equipment care, and operational detail
● Familiarity with inventory control, requisition procedures, and stewarding equipment preferred
● Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays, based on business requirements
● Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standards as required by local regulations
