Your Day to Day

In this role you will assist in supervising the stewarding function in assigned kitchen areas to promote overall cleanliness, sanitation and compliance with state and local health regulations and in educating employees on current safety issues to ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations while ensuring that equipment is prepared and operational for the following day's work. You will assist in determining the minimum and maximum stocks and control the par stocks of all materials and equipment and may conduct inventories as needed. You may assist with other duties as assigned including but not limited to assistance with food dish-up, completing set-up sheets, assisting with set-up and break-down for various events, etc.

What We Need from You

Qualifications include:

• One year of experience in stewarding, kitchen maintenance, kitchen operations or similar
• Knowledge of food and beverage service operation is preferred
• You may be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays
• This job requires ability to perform the following: carrying or lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds, standing up and moving about the kitchen, handling food, objects, products and utensils. bending, stooping and kneeling

What We Offer

The hourly pay range for this role is $26.72 to $33.40. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Los Angeles, California. This is the lowest to highest pay scale we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the pay range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs.
