IHG is seeking a Senior Marketing Analyst to help our marketing organization understand and improve the effectiveness of our owned media channels. In this role, you will leverage your analytical skills, media channel knowledge, and clear communication to measure the impact of our marketing tactics, identify opportunities for improvement, and support the development of our owned media test-and-learn optimization strategy. You will work closely with our Analytics and Marketing teams to deliver insights that drive smarter decision-making and enhance the performance of our owned media efforts.

 

Your day to day

  • Apply analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and curiosity to drive change, identifying opportunities to improve marketing effectiveness across owned channels.
  • Enhance reporting for owned marketing channels, ensuring clear measurement of campaign effectiveness and actionable insights for continuous improvement.
  • Analyze and measure business impact, including incremental revenue and ROI of marketing initiatives, using advanced analytics techniques.
  • Develop and deliver data-driven insights through complex data extraction, joins, and analysis using SQL (GCP BigQuery), Excel, BI tools (Looker, Power BI, Tableau), and web analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics).
  • Present findings and recommendations clearly to senior leadership and cross-functional teams to drive informed decisions and positive change within IHG’s marketing strategies.
  • Partner with marketing stakeholders to design and execute test-and-learn strategies that optimize owned media performance and contribute to sustained revenue growth.
  • Prepare clear, accurate visualizations (charts, tables, graphs) to communicate insights effectively and on time, supporting decision-making across the organization.

 

What we need from you

  • Bachelor's degree (Math, Statistics, Economics, Marketing, Business, or a related field) with 4+ years of progressive experience in digital media, analytics, consulting or related fields.
  • Proven ability to create insightful reports and visualizations that drive data-informed decision-making.
  • Understanding of digital marketing and CRM tools with experience supporting marketing teams.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to adapt messaging to different audiences and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in SQL for data querying and extraction.
  • Experience building reports and visualizations using Excel, Tableau, Looker, Power BI, or similar tools, including interpreting reports to generate actionable insights.
  • Knowledge of CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and web analytics tools (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics).
  • Good understanding of statistical concepts and models, including data analysis techniques, design of experiments (DOE), and A/B testing methodologies.

 

Location - Our hybrid work structure is an expectation of three (3) days a week in office. This expectation may be adjusted to evolve with the changing needs of the business.

The salary range for this role is $58,844 to $110,000. This role is also eligible for bonus pay.  We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401K, and other benefits to employees.
