Drive the strategic management and continuous optimization of key revenue-generating loyalty products within IHG One Rewards, including Points & Cash, Points Purchase, and Bonus Point Packages. Develop and execute business plans rooted in financial performance to advance IHG’s overarching point purchase strategy, ensuring alignment with IHG’s evolving goals. Securing leadership alignment and cross-functional support from key internal stakeholders will be essential for driving initiatives forward. This role requires leading partner and agency management for point sale products, ensuring effective collaboration and execution. Additionally, close partnership with cross-functional IHG teams will be crucial to define and implement the point pricing strategy and roadmap, marketing efforts, and enhancements to the booking channel experience(s). Overseeing execution and ongoing optimization of core revenue-driving products, the individual must be adept at identifying growth opportunities and spearheading innovation. Since point purchase is a significant contributor to IHG’s financial performance, success in this role demands a keen ability to recognize and capitalize on opportunities, demonstrating tenacity in driving initiatives that maximize revenue potential.
Your Day-To-Day
- Serve as the subject matter expert for all point purchase programs, driving strategic direction and continuous optimization.
- Develop and lead the loyalty program’s point pricing strategy, ensuring the right balance of value for members, IHG, and hotels through multi-year roadmaps.
- Collaborate with Finance and Analytics teams to leverage data-driven insights for prioritization and strategic decision-making.
- Monitor point sale products even daily, identifying trends and opportunities to enhance performance.
- Partner closely with Marketing and Technology teams to test, refine, and implement new initiatives, serving as the business lead and product owner.
- Stay ahead of the competitive landscape, identifying opportunities to position IHG as a best-in-class leader in point purchase programs.
What we need from you
- Experience: 8+ years in marketing, loyalty, or finance, with a strong track record in driving business growth.
- Strategic & Analytical Thinking: Ability to manage multiple competing priorities while remaining a problem solver, opportunity seeker, and collaborative leader.
- Vendor & Agency Management: Comfortable overseeing vendor and agency relationships to optimize performance and strategic partnerships.
- Financial Acumen: Strong expertise in budget management and financial metrics to drive profitability and operational efficiency.
- Leadership & Change Management: Proven ability to lead change in a complex, global organization, inspiring teams and stakeholders.
- Communication & Influence: Exceptional oral and written communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders, with the ability to influence and persuade top executives at IHG.
- Problem-Solving & Negotiation: Effective problem-solving, negotiation, and analytical skills to navigate challenges and seize opportunities.
- Product Management: Experience with business requirements gathering customer research, documentation, and established product management methodologies.
Location - Our hybrid work structure is an expectation of three (3) days a week in office. This expectation may be adjusted to evolve with the changing needs of the business.
The salary range for this role is $58,844 to $130,000. This role is also eligible for bonus pay. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401K, and other benefits to employees.
