Role Purpose

The role will be to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of Billing team’s activities, applying cash in hotels’ account globally and includes providing support to other sub-functions such Reporting team in Balance Sheet Reconciliation, month end tasks and audit support. Ensure all the processing has correct accounting treatment in terms of AR vs. GL and all the receipts are applied on time in PeopleSoft and correctly recorded in customer ledger.

Key Accountabilities

1. Accurate & Complete Billing
a) Prepare and issue invoices in accordance with customer contracts/agreements, company policies, and timelines.
b) Validate charge accuracy and verify supporting documentation before submission.
c) Ensure consistency and accuracy in all billing-related transactions.Maintain complete and accurate records of all billing transactions, approvals, and communications.
2. Audit & Compliance
a) Maintain proper documentation and audit trails for all billing transactions.
b) Support internal and external audits by preparing and providing required billing data and reports.
c) Ensure billing processes comply with IFRS and internal financial controls.
3. Billing Reports & Analysis
a) Generate regular billing reports and dashboards to track billing status, volumes, and exceptions.
b) Perform root cause analysis for billing issues and support process improvements.
c) Highlight trends and anomalies to the Billing Manager for further action.
4. Process Support
a) Assist in implementing and monitoring billing checkpoints to ensure process integrity.
b) Suggest improvements to streamline billing workflows and reduce manual effort.

Key Skills & Experiences

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a relevant field of work or an equivalent combination of education and 1-2 Years work-related experience.

Technical Skills and Knowledge

  • Accounting Knowledge: Good Knowledge of Accounting Principles and concepts and the ability to apply them to the company's Accounting practices.
  • System Knowledge: Good knowledge of the relevant IHG systems like People soft, Essbase etc.

Other Skills

Communication - Possess good communication skills.

Flexibility - Flexible to work in multiple shifts
