Key Responsibilities
- Manage asset and project accounting, including timely capitalization and smooth transition of projects to fixed assets in line with accounting standards.
- Maintain accurate asset lifecycle records and ensure completeness and accuracy of the Fixed Asset Register.
- Prepare and deliver accurate CapEx, depreciation, and asset-related reports.
- Perform and review balance sheet reconciliations, investigate variances, and ensure timely resolution.
- Support internal and external audits by providing documentation, explanations, and ensuring audit readiness.
- Ensure adherence to accounting policies, procedures, and internal control requirements.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and standardization.
- Perform first-level reviews of asset accounting activities and provide guidance on process and policy interpretation.
- Support and lead finance initiatives aimed at improving day-to-day operations and reducing manual effort.

Reporting & Stakeholder Management
- Reports to: Team Leader / Assistant Manager – FAP
- Direct reports: None
- Key stakeholders include Financial reviewers/approvers, DS COE team, FP&A and Business Support, Global Financial Reporting, Global Technology teams, GFS teams, and statutory and tax auditors.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience; professional certifications are an advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance, preferably in capital or fixed asset accounting.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and their practical application
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with accounting systems such as PeopleSoft and/or Essbase preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
- Awareness of accounting policies and internal control frameworks
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

- Flexibility to work across multiple shifts as per business requirements and organizational policies.
