Duties and Responsibilities
As Spa Reception Supervisor, I will assume full responsibility for the efficient operation in the following:
- Lead the Spa Reception team, resolve complex issues and ensure exceptional guest experience and collaborative teamwork.
- Take responsibility for the teams training which involves equipping all hosts with necessary skills and knowledge to perform their tasks effectively, ensuring the alignment with organizational goals.
- Greet guests on arrival and conduct check-in and registration procedures in an efficient and friendly manner, using guest name whenever possible.
- Ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of the reception area and spa concentrating on front of house areas.
- Remove and replace towels and amenities in the spa common areas (included wet areas) as needed.
- Ensure retail is offered appropriately to the guests and retail area is set up as per standards.
- Handle guest complaints and record all guest comments accordingly.
- Answer the telephone and email communications.
- Create and update guest profiles ensuring they are not duplicated
- Provide prompt, courteous, and accurate service to guests at all times.
Qualifications
To execute the position of Spa Reception Supervisor, I must have the required qualifications, technical skills and experience in a similar role in luxury hotels with proven results and includes the following:
- High school diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years’ experience in a similar luxury spas and health clubs with proven references. Hospitality diploma/degree from a recognized hospitality school is preferred.
- Technical skills include MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Software experience with Book4time an advantage.
- Fluent in English; I understand that additional languages are preferred.
