Join Our Culinary Leadership Team as Sous Chef.
We are entering an exciting new chapter in our Culinary and Food & Beverage journey. With a clear focus on innovation, guest experience, and team excellence, we are seeking a Sous Chef to work closely with the Head Chef and Director of Culinary & Food and Beverage Services to guide our talented team through this next phase of growth and transformation.
As Sous Chef, you will support the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen, ensuring high standards of food quality, presentation, and safety. You’ll act as a role model for the team, mentoring junior chefs, contributing creative ideas, and ensuring smooth, efficient operations across all outlets and meal periods.
A little taste of your day-to-day
Every day is different but mostly you’ll be:
- Responsible for leading and nurturing a workplace culture that is positive, inclusive, and aligned with IHG’s values, ensuring team members feel engaged, supported, and motivated to deliver their best.
- Support the Head Chef in menu planning, preparation, and service
- Lead the kitchen team in the Head Chef’s absence
- Ensure food quality, hygiene, and safety standards are maintained across all outlets.
- Mentor and develop culinary staff, inspiring creativity, fostering growth and skill development.
- Manage kitchen operations efficiently while embracing change and new ideas.

- Proven experience in a senior kitchen leadership role.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills.
- Exceptional culinary expertise, creativity, and attention to detail.
- Commitment to delivering outstanding guest experiences.
- Ability to adapt to change and contribute to the evolution of the culinary department.
- Exceptional communication skills

- Previous experience as a Sous Chef or strong Chef de Partie ready for the next step
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills
