As Chef de Cuisine (Head) Chef, you’ll ensure quality, maintain high standards and keep the kitchen running smoothly.
● Making every single meal a feast for the eyes and treat for the tastebuds
● Lead, mentor, and inspire a diverse team of over 20 culinary professionals.
● Conduct regular training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
● Be hands on directing daily kitchen activities as well as coaching and developing a team capable of catering to 500 people
● Encouraging and addressing guest feedback
● Collaborate with the Executive Chef on concept development and special events.
● Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in compliance with local regulations.
● Manage kitchen inventory, ordering, and stock control to minimize waste and ensure cost-effectiveness.
Ideally you will have the following skills:
● 5 years’ experience as a chef
● Experience in a senior culinary role within a high-volume, environment.
● Strong understanding of food trends and dietary requirements.
● Proven ability to lead and motivate a large team.
● Ability to manage conflict and resolve issues effectively.
● Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
● Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
● Support à la carte and special events services as needed
