Join Our Team as Social Media & Marketing Executive
IHG (InterContinental Hotels Group) is one of the world’s largest hotel groups, and ANA InterContinental Tokyo is a flagship property in Japan.
We are now looking for a Social Media & Marketing Executive member to help us share the story of our hotel with a wider audience.

No previous hotel industry experience is required. We welcome applications from candidates with diverse backgrounds.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the official social media platforms of ANA InterContinental Tokyo.
- Create engaging content for all social media channels, ensuring brand consistency in style, tone, and quality.
- Monitor user engagement, analyze feedback, and prepare weekly and monthly reports on performance, market trends, and competitor activity.
- Support the Digital Marketing Manager with strong copywriting and visual content across digital hubs and social channels.
- Develop and execute creative social media campaigns, using strategies such as hashtags, cross-channel promotion, and platform algorithm optimization.
- Plan and manage the social media calendar, including timely scheduling of posts and prompt responses to online comments.
- Incorporate local trends and global best practices to enhance brand visibility.
- Apply a basic knowledge of SEO and digital marketing to optimize online presence.
- Stay up to date with the latest social media advertising tools, trends, and strategies to achieve business goals.
- Strong understanding of digital media and social media, including the type of content required for each channel.
- Proficiency in using and analyzing social media platforms.
- Ability to approach tasks with a marketing mindset, create compelling stories, and develop/edit B2C content (copywriting and visual media).
- Excellent communication skills to engage with customers, employees, influencers, and third parties, ensuring a positive image of the hotel, brand, and company.
- Strong multitasking and project management skills, with the ability to lead and maintain good relationships with stakeholders.
- Proficiency in both Japanese and English (speaking and writing).
- Experience in the hospitality, travel, or luxury brand industry.
- Familiarity with design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, or Canva.
- Knowledge and experience in video production and editing.
- Understanding of paid social media advertising and campaign management.
- Creative mindset with a passion for storytelling and brand communication.
- Experience working in multicultural or international environments.
