We’re looking for a Social Media Marketing Manager to lead the strategy and execution of Ruby’s social media presence. You’ll serve as the subject matter expert for Ruby within IHG’s portfolio, owning everything from high-level strategy to hands-on content planning. If you have a deep passion for social, a finger on the pulse of pop culture, and experience driving performance across channels, this is the role for you.
Your Day to Day
- Develop and Execute Strategy: Lead the customer-centric social marketing strategy for Ruby—integrating business priorities, brand storytelling, and social-first creativity.
- Create and Curate Content: Own the content calendar, working with agency partners to develop engaging, platform-specific content (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Lead Social Innovation: Stay ahead of digital and cultural trends to keep Ruby’s voice fresh, relevant, and competitive.
- Manage Tools & Operations: Oversee social tools and software, calendars, and reporting. Ensure flawless execution of campaigns and content workflows.
- Analyse & Optimise: Leverage analytics and insights to evaluate performance and continually optimize strategy and execution.
- Foster Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with brand, PR, campaign management, creative, and external vendors to ensure cohesive storytelling and execution.
- Support Hotel-Level Social: Drive scalable social solutions that empower hotels to activate the Ruby brand at the property level.
- Governance & Best Practices: Uphold global social governance standards, ensuring alignment with IHG’s brand, legal, and compliance guidelines.
- Drive Innovation: Promote new ways of working, including marketing automation and test-and-learn frameworks.
What We Need from You
- Significant experience with a deep understanding of social platforms, trends, and best practices.
- Proven ability to develop and execute social campaigns that drive engagement, conversion, and brand affinity.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities under tight timelines.
- Experience working with influencers, content creators, and social agencies.
- Creative thinker with a test-and-learn mindset and a drive for continuous improvement.
