Key Accountabilities

•    Build, enhance, and maintain dashboards and reports across one or more business domains—ensuring outputs are accurate, timely, and aligned with design standards
•    Translate reporting needs into structured logic and guided visual outputs with moderate guidance; begin proposing wireframes and layout improvements
•    Support cross-functional or multi-team reporting requests, contributing to business reviews and performance discussions
•    Perform robust data validation and investigate anomalies using SQL or available tools; collaborate with data and semantic layer teams to resolve issues
•    Apply KPI definitions and governance standards across deliverables with growing confidence in selecting appropriate metrics
•    Contribute to reporting automation efforts, such as auto-refreshed decks or reusable Tableau components
•    Provide documentation and lead user walkthroughs for tools built; help business users navigate insights
•    Participate actively in peer reviews and cross-team learning; share technical tips and solutions
•    Offer informal coaching to analysts and specialists, supporting team growth while deepening own technical and business fluency


Education
Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, or Information Systems or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience. Business majors considered with strong technical ability.
Experience


2–4 years in BI or analytics, with experience in dashboard development and ad hoc analysis.
Technical Skills and Knowledge: 


•    Proficient in Tableau (or similar BI tools) with demonstrated ability to build well-structured, interactive dashboards that follow design standards and improve usability
•    Solid SQL skills for joining data sources, validating KPIs, and resolving common metric issues; capable of modifying logic independently
•    Growing understanding of semantic layer structures, including how field definitions, hierarchies, and joins affect front-end reporting and data consistency
•    Familiar with Python and able to support basic automation workflows (e.g., PowerPoint deck refreshes or templated outputs)
•    Strong grasp of business KPIs and context for at least one functional area (e.g., commercial, loyalty, marketing); able to align visuals with performance questions
•    Comfortable supporting cross-functional requests and contributing to story-driven visual outputs with guidance
•    Developing skills in visual storytelling and guided layouts; capable of proposing improvements to dashboards or explaining insights to stakeholders
•    Effective communicator across technical teams and business users; can explain logic choices, field behaviors, or dashboard usage
•    Proficiency in Tableau or similar BI tools is expected. Knowledge of PowerPoint automation (e.g., Python, scripting) is a plus.
