To support IHG’s presence in the digital social space by executing cross-platform social strategies, creating compelling content, and engaging with the travel community. This role contributes to strengthening brand affinity and driving loyalty through consistent storytelling and data-informed social activations.
Your day to day
• Content Execution:
o Support the delivery of social content strategies for key platforms, including WeChat, Douyin, RedNote, and Video Channels.
o Create and publish platform-tailored content that aligns with brand voice and commercial objective.
o Assist in managing KOL collaborations and content partnerships to amplify the reach and engagement.
• Campaign Implementation:
o Execute integrated social campaigns that align with brand, loyalty and cross-region initiative.
o Monitor content performance and assist in optimizing real-time content based on platform insights.
• Performance Tracking & Reporting:
o Support the tracking of social KPIs such as engagement, sentiment, and buzz.
o Help compile performance reports to inform content and platform strategy.
• Cross-functional Collaboration:
o Work closely with cross functional teams to ensure social support and alignment.
o Assist in developing social toolkits and training materials for hotel marketing teams.
• Trend & Insight Integration:
o Stay updated on social media trends and consumer behaviors to recommend timely content and engagement opportunities
What we need from you
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent international degree in Brand, Marketing, Social
• 3-years experience in social media or brand marketing within the hospitality or luxury industry, with a focus on social campaigns and content creation.
• Hands-on experience with WeChat, Douyin, RedNote, and/or short-video platforms
• Experience in project management across multifunctional teams both internal and external
• Data-driven approach to content creation, strategy, KOL management and performance measurement
• Strong passion and interest in social, embedding a sense of urgency in strategic planning to enable rapid, agile responses.
• Data-sensitive with the ability to interpret social metrics and derive actionable insights
• Strong content sense and creative execution skills
• Excellent communication skills in Mandarin and English
• Able to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
