Key Responsibilities: Sales Strategy & Execution:- Develop and implement annual sales plans and strategies to meet or exceed revenue goals.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in corporate, MICE, travel trade, and group segments.
- Conduct daily sales calls, manage key accounts, and execute client presentations.
- Represent the hotel at trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events.
- Build long-term client relationships by delivering consistent service excellence.
- Handle high-value client accounts, resolve escalations, and ensure satisfaction.
- Maintain a detailed sales pipeline and account tracking system.
- Monitor and report on sales activities and performance to leadership.
- Work with Revenue and Marketing teams to optimize rate structures and packages.
- Analyze market trends, competition, and customer feedback to refine sales approach.
- Work closely with hotel operations to ensure guest requirements are met seamlessly.
- Ensure all sales activities comply with IHG brand standards and code of conduct.
- Contribute to team knowledge by mentoring junior team members where applicable.
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of proven success in hotel sales, preferably within the IHG network.
- Strong knowledge of the Bengaluru market and key corporate clients.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Opera/Delphi, and IHG systems (e.g., Concerto, Merlin).
