Senior Sales Executive - Luxury, Lifestyle & Entertainment
IHG Hotels & Resorts Malta, is seeking a passionate and driven Senior Sales Executive to join our dynamic Commercial Team, with a focus on the Luxury, Lifestyle, and Entertainment segments across our portfolio, including InterContinental Malta, voco Malta, and Holiday Inn Express Malta.
The ideal candidate should ideally have prior experience in the hospitality industry, strong relationship-building skills, sound commercial acumen, and a genuine passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences, with potential for career progression into a managerial role.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively source, develop and manage business within the luxury, lifestyle and entertainment sectors, including film productions, VIP clients, influencers, artists and premium accounts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local and international clients, agents, producers and partners.
- Identify new business opportunities and actively “hunt” for leads while nurturing existing accounts.
- Handle enquiries, negotiate contracts, and close business in line with revenue targets.
- Collaborate closely with Operations, Events, Marketing and Revenue teams to deliver seamless, bespoke experiences for high-profile guests.
- Represent IHG Malta at networking events and industry platforms.
- Contribute to overall sales strategy and team targets.
- Attend assigned regional and international trade shows, sales missions, and commercial events
Key Requirements
- Ideally having previous experience in hospitality sales, events and dealing with luxury or lifestyle clients.
- A true people person with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly motivated, proactive and results-driven.
- Strong negotiation and presentation abilities.
- Passion for hospitality and delivering memorable experiences.
- Ability to work independently while thriving within a collaborative team environment.
- Must be flexible to attend to client meetings and requests on weekends and evenings
- Professional appearance and confident manner.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Fluency in English (additional languages are an asset).
