I will deliver “Out of the Ordinary” experiences that inspire, delight, and create meaningful stories. By blending innovation, surprise, authenticity, and thoughtful details, every guest interaction will be transformed into a memorable wellness journey.
Key responsibilities include:
Reports to work station according to schedule with a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene with clean and pressed uniform as per the hotel policy.
Attends all staff and training meeting when directed by the Senior Room Attendant or Assistant Housekeeper.
Monitors daily arrivals according to occupancy report in co-ordination with the Senior Room Attendant.
Assists guests with special needs and requirements.
Stocks supply wheel trolley with required room supplies for shift.
Replaces supplies in the rooms such as stationary folder, guest supplies, compendium, hotel brochures and information regarding hotel services and facilities.
Removes furniture, curtains and other fixtures, which require repair, replacement, spotting, waxing or cleaning.
Changes bed linen with clean bed sheets and pillowcases as per the hotel policy.
Cares for all details, the style and the overall appearance of all areas.
Applies, uses and maintains equipment with very best care and is responsible for it
Dusts and cleans all lampshades, ceiling, walls, curtains and decorations in guestrooms.
Wipes and polishes all furniture, mirrors, and windows.
Cleans all bathroom fixtures and fittings and replaces bathroom supplies.
Ensures all supplies and cleaning equipment are in good working condition and stored in proper locations,
Ensures that guest requests for additional linen or bathroom supplies are delivered promptly (within 5 minutes).
Checks and records items used from minibar.
Report room defects to Senior Room Attendant immediately.
Returns lost and found items to Housekeeping Office and completes required forms.
Reports equipment failure, damage to room furnishings or missing items to Senior Room Attendant.
Provides turn down service according to service standard, including re stock of minibar.
Submits completed room status report to Senior Room Attendant.
Provides current information to guests about hotel facilities, services and special events.
Handles guest requests and immediately refers problems and complaints to the Senior Room Attendant or Assistant Housekeeper.
Provides assistance to guests in all hotel emergency evacuation and medical procedures.
Maintains a high standard of hygiene and sanitation throughout all service areas.
Introduces all new staff to housekeeping facilities and services and explains all policies, tasks, procedures and standards to ensure the highest standard of service.
Responsible Business & Compliance
All operations will be conducted ethically, transparently, and in compliance with local laws and company policies. I will ensure a safe and secure environment for guests, hosts, and assets while maintaining positive relationships with local communities and stakeholders.
Skills & Experience
The role requires:
Diploma of high school completion.
Two years or more in a housekeeping position in an international hotel chain.
Intermediate to Advanced MS Office
Knowledge of cleaning procedures, chemicals and surfaces.
Understanding of scheduling working and organization.
Very good command over written and spoken English.
Ability to train and supervise staff and communicate well with management and guests.
Willingness to learn new skills and work hard.
A sharp mind/ attention to detail to ensure that the vast areas assigned to him is well taken care of at all times.
Heavy lifting of materials up to 10lbs may be required.
Must be able to work under a deadline.
I maintain a thorough understanding of Six Senses brand standards, operational guidelines, and service philosophy.
