We’re looking for a Senior Manager, Sustainability Performance & Insights to join our Global Corporate Responsibility team at IHG’s Headquarters in Windsor, UK.

Your Impact:

• Lead Carbon Accounting with Clarity

Oversee the measurement and management of IHG’s global carbon footprint across Scopes 1, 2 and 3. Ensure methodologies are robust, transparent, and aligned with the GHG Protocol, CDP, SBTi, and evolving regulations such as CSRD.

• Drive Data Systems and Insight Innovation

Manage and evolve our global sustainability data platforms. Handle large, complex datasets and develop intuitive dashboards that transform data into actionable insights for regions, functions, and leaders.

• Anticipate and Innovate

Leverage AI, automation, and emerging technologies to advance ESG analytics, forecasting, and performance reporting. Explore how machine learning and data science can be used to forecast trends from energy consumption and carbon emissions to climate-related risk and weather impacts.

• Transform Insights into Action

Create engaging, insight-led reports and presentations that inform and inspire senior stakeholders, from the Executive Committee to Finance and regional CR teams, enabling data-driven decisions that create lasting impact.

• Strengthen Governance and Accountability

Safeguard the accuracy, traceability, and consistency of global ESG data. Ensure disclosures and metrics align with leading sustainability standards and investor expectations.

• Collaborate for Global Impact

Work closely with colleagues across regions and functions, connecting insights to action and fostering a shared understanding of our sustainability journey.

What You’ll Bring:

You’re curious, analytical, and passionate about driving positive change through data. You combine deep sustainability expertise with a strategic mindset and a love of turning numbers into narratives.

•    Strong experience in sustainability or ESG data analytics, carbon accounting, and reporting
•    Familiarity with key frameworks such as GHG Protocol, CDP, CSRD, and TCFD
•    Proven ability to design and manage sustainability data systems (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms)
•    Experience using data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, or Python to manage, interrogate, and validate large datasets
•    Interest or experience in data science and machine learning applications for sustainability (e.g., forecasting energy use, modelling emissions, or integrating climate and weather data)
•    Experience producing clear, insight-driven reports and presentations for senior audiences
•    A proactive, self-sufficient mindset and drive for continuous improvement
•    An innovative perspective on how technology and AI can accelerate sustainability progress
