You will serve as the analytical engine of our EMEAA marketing organisation, bringing measurement rigor, clarity, and accountability to one of IHG’s most dynamic and diverse regions. In this role, you will ensure marketing investment is directly connected to business performance, empowering leaders with the insight they need to optimize impact and drive growth.
This is a strategic leadership role for someone who combines technical expertise, commercial acumen, and the confidence to influence senior stakeholders.
What You’ll Do
- Lead end-to-end marketing analytics across EMEAA
Oversee the full lifecycle of analytics projects, including campaign measurement, channel performance, audience insights, and marketing effectiveness. Working across multiple markets, you will navigate varied data environments and business contexts with agility and precision. - Act as a trusted advisor to marketing leadership
Be the primary analytics partner to regional marketing leaders, translating complex data into clear, actionable recommendations. This is not a reporting role; you will bring perspective, challenge thinking, and shape decisions around planning, investment, and channel strategy. - Elevate analytical standards and storytelling
Manage and develop a team of analysts, setting clear priorities and raising the bar on quality, insight generation, and data storytelling. Your leadership will strengthen the team’s capabilities and ensure consistent, high-impact delivery. - Align regional work with global frameworks
Partnering closely with the global Marketing Analytics team, you will ensure EMEAA, initiatives align with enterprise measurement standards, methodologies, and data infrastructure, balancing global consistency with local relevance.
What We’re Looking For
- Regional marketing complexity expertise
Demonstrable understanding of the nuances of operating across diverse markets, with the ability to design measurement frameworks that work globally while remaining sensitive to local realities. - Advanced technical capability
Proven advanced proficiency in SQL, statistical analysis, and data visualisation tools (R or Python an advantage). Hands-on experience with marketing analytics platforms, attribution modelling, and media measurement methodologies. - Strategic storytelling skills
Ability to translate data into compelling narratives that clearly connect marketing investment to business outcomes. Confident in presenting to senior stakeholders and influencing decisions. - Proven people leadership
Strong leadership capability, setting high standards, developing talent, and maintaining quality under pressure. Creating an environment where analytical excellence thrives. - Proactive and opportunity-focused
