This leadership role is responsible for developing and executing HLG’s growth strategies to meet the year one system size targets & maintaining pipeline health. The role will focus on expanding the company’s portfolio through innovative growth initiatives while fostering a high-performance culture. This individual will track and assist the team to ensure the hotel pipeline progresses efficiently, adhering to key milestones during construction & pre-opening, and achieving timely openings.

Your day to day
Strategic HLG Growth Planning:
      •     Design and implement robust growth strategies to expand IHG’s footprint in Greater China, aligned with corporate objectives and market opportunities.
      •     Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and evaluate new opportunities & tools for faster opening, and competitive TS that assist development team to win more market share.

Pipeline Management:
      •     Lead the pipeline planning process, ensuring all development projects are tracked with clear milestones.
      •     Establish systems to monitor project timelines, budgets, and resources to achieve on-time and successful hotel openings.

Performance Culture Leadership:
      •     Promote a results-oriented culture by setting clear, measurable objectives for the team.
      •     Develop and implement tools and metrics to assess team performance and project progress.
      •     Drive accountability and continuous improvement within the team and across stakeholders.

Cross-functional Collaboration:
      •     Partner with Design, Engineering, PM & Hotel Openings team, and development teams to ensure seamless execution of projects.
      •     Engage with global and regional HLG peers to align on growth goals and strategies.

Market Insights and Analysis:
      •     Conduct regular competitive analysis to inform strategic decision-making.
      •     Monitor industry trends and adjust strategies to maintain IHG’s competitive edge in Greater China.

What we need from you
  •     Bachelor’s degree in business, real estate, finance or a related field (MBA preferred).
      •     8+ years of experience in strategy, development, or growth roles, ideally within the hospitality sector.
      •     Proven track record of managing complex projects and delivering results on time.
      •     Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams.
      •     Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
      •     Familiarity with the hotel development lifecycle, including pre-opening and construction processes.
