This role helps shape the strategic direction and execution of communications for the Luxury & Lifestyle team in the Americas, along with the managed estate in the US and Canada, to successfully deliver strategic priorities to key stakeholders. Successful candidates will bring a demonstrated ability to plan and execute communications that drive awareness for owners, hotel leadership and internal colleagues. Strong written and verbal communications skills, relationship-building skills, innovative and can-do mindset required. 

Your day to day 

  • Leading the development of communications for the Luxury & Lifestyle team in the region and the managed estate in the US and Canada, working closely with the MD and their leadership team 
  • Executing town hall/all-hands meetings, creating content for senior leader engagement 
  • Managing internal, owner, and hotel communications channels including senior leadership communications 
  • Continually exploring new ways to deliver engaging content through innovative channel delivery and use of technology 
  • Regularly and proactively engaging with multiple teams/stakeholders for key strategic projects impacting the AMER Luxury & Lifestyle team and the US and Canada managed hotel estate. 
  • Collaborating with global/regional communications teams to ensure successful delivery against global plans through regional channels 
  • Supporting crisis and issues management relating to owners and operators in the LLA and US/Canada CMH estates. 

What we need from you 

  • 8+ years progressive work experience in communications with broad experience across a range of communications disciplines (in-house or agency). 
  • Experience in building and leading highly effective globally dispersed teams to achieve challenging agendas 
  • Knowledge of Hospitality industry communications 
  • Strong business acumen and strategic knowledge 
  • Strong networking skills including external partnering 
  • Strong project management and proven track record of high-impact delivery 
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with demonstrated ability to advise and influence senior leaders and decision makers  
  • Passion for storytelling with a deep understanding of internal communications and engagement channels 

Location - Our hybrid work structure is an expectation of three (3) days a week in the ATLANTA office.  This expectation may be adjusted to evolve with the changing needs of the business.

Travel - minimal travel required for this role

The salary range for this role is $58,834 to $120,000.  This role is eligible for bonus pay.  We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401K and other benefits to employees.
