Sales Account Manager – Wholesale
Job Summary
The Sales Account Manager – Wholesale is responsible for developing and managing relationships with wholesale customers, distributors, and business partners. This role focuses on achieving sales targets, expanding market share, maintaining customer satisfaction, and ensuring the smooth execution of sales activities from order placement to delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow existing wholesale accounts.
- Identify and develop new wholesale customers and business opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and key accounts.
- Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Develop account plans and sales strategies for assigned customers.
- Monitor sales performance and prepare sales forecasts and reports.
- Coordinate with Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and Customer Service to ensure timely product delivery.
- Resolve customer issues and provide excellent after-sales support.
- Monitor competitor activities and market trends.
- Present new products and promotional campaigns to customers.
- Attend trade shows, exhibitions, and customer meetings when required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
- 3–5+ years of experience in Sales, Account Management, or Wholesale Sales.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
- Willingness to travel for customer visits.
