Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve hotel revenue targets.
Identify new business opportunities and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
Conduct regular sales calls, client meetings, and property site inspections.
Negotiate contracts, rates, and packages with corporate accounts, travel agents, and event planners.
Monitor competitor activities and market trends to adjust sales strategies.
Revenue & Target Achievement
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets set by management.
Work closely with the Revenue Manager to forecast demand and optimize pricing.
Develop packages and promotions to maximize occupancy and revenue.
Client Relationship Management
Ensure excellent account management by responding promptly to client inquiries.
Maintain CRM/database with accurate and up-to-date client information.
Handle VIP, group, and corporate bookings, ensuring seamless service delivery.
Event & Banquet Sales
Collaborate with the Events/Banquet team to sell meeting spaces, weddings, and conferences.
Prepare proposals, quotations, and contracts for events and groups.
Coordinate with the operations team to ensure client requirements are met.
Reporting & Administration
Prepare daily/weekly/monthly sales reports and share with management.
Maintain detailed records of sales activities, client feedback, and conversion rates.
Assist in annual budgeting and business planning for the Sales department.
Skills & CompetenciesStrong sales and negotiation skills.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.
Knowledge of local and international market trends.
Proficiency in MS Office, hotel PMS/CRM systems.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Hospitality Management.
Minimum 3–5 years of sales experience in hospitality or a related field.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
