Your day to day

• Solicit new and existing accounts to meet and exceed revenue goals through telephone
prospecting, outside sales calls, site inspections, and written communication.
• Maximize revenue by selling all hotel facets to current, potential, and past clients, both
verbally and in writing.
• Ensure account details are handled thoroughly, with all solicitation and closing activities
documented. Coordinate with various departments to service accounts.
• Develop and deliver persuasive verbal sales presentations to prospective clients.
• Prepare information for, meet with, and entertain clients as appropriate based on potential
business from their accounts.
• Communicate effectively with all hotel departments to ensure high high-quality service for clients.
• Maintain regular attendance and availability to work as needed.
• Prepare correspondence, internal booking reports, and file maintenance.
• Participate in daily business review meetings, pre pre-convention meetings, training, and other
sales sales-related activities.
• Attend trade shows, community events, and industry meetings to stay updated on market
trends and build relationships.
• Maintain knowledge of market trends, competition, and key customers for the hotel.
What we need from you
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2+ years of past in the field of hospitality sales experience preferred. in catering sales.
• Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written. Must be able to speak, read,
write, and understand English. Must possess computer skills, including, but not limited to.
• Knowledge of hotel features, benefits, and competing hotels within the market
• Ability to execute appropriate action plans.
• Knowledge of hotel operations, including marketing plans, preparation of business plans,
budget forecasting, quality assurance programs, and long long-range planning.
• Leadership skills to motivate and develop staff and to ensure the accomplishment of goals.
• Able to set priorities, plan, organize, and delegate.
• Ability to work effectively under time constraints and deadlines.
