Key Responsibilities Sales & Revenue Generation
  • Identify, develop, and maintain new and existing business accounts to achieve revenue targets.
  • Focus on key segments such as Corporate, SME, Travel Agents, OTAs, Airlines, and Local Accounts.
  • Prepare and implement a comprehensive sales action plan in line with hotel budgets.
  • Conduct regular sales calls, client meetings, and site inspections.
  • Negotiate contracts, rates, and agreements within approved guidelines.
Account Management & Relationships
  • Build strong relationships with key corporate clients and travel partners.
  • Maintain accurate client records and account history in IHG systems.
  • Ensure repeat business through consistent follow-ups and service delivery.
  • Coordinate with Front Office and Operations teams to ensure guest expectations are met.
Market & Business Development
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing strategies.
  • Participate in sales blitzes, roadshows, trade fairs, and networking events as required.
  • Identify local market opportunities to maximize weekday and off-peak occupancy.
Reporting & Administration
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
  • Track sales performance against targets and take corrective action where needed.
  • Ensure all contracts and documentation comply with IHG policies.
  • Update sales activities and pipelines regularly.
Brand & Compliance
  • Adhere to Holiday Inn Express brand standards and IHG policies.
  • Maintain high standards of professionalism and ethical conduct.
  • Support hotel audits, brand reviews, and compliance requirements.
Desired Skills & Competencies
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Result-oriented with a proactive sales approach.
  • Good knowledge of local market and hospitality sales dynamics.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and hotel sales systems (IHG tools preferred).
