Job Status and Requirements:

  1. Must be able to work on Guam, USA without restrictions:​
  • US Citizens or US Permanent Residents

  • Residents of Federated States of Micronesia (FSM)

  1. This position is not eligible for:​
  • Relocation Package

  • to be US Work Visa Sponsor

       3. This is an non-exempt hourly position

 

Education - Diploma or Vocational Certificate in Sales & Marketing, Hotel Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

Service years - One-year related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in Sales & Marketing with Hotel Industry preferred.

Knowledge and skills

  • Demonstrated ability to interact with customers, employees and third parties that reflects highly on the hotel, the brand and the Company.
  • Problem solving and organizational abilities.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent reading and writing skills

 

Your-day-to-day

 

  • Prepare all administration documents required by the Sales team

  • Attend to telephone, fax, email enquiries in a timely manner

  • Co-ordinate all familiarizations and site inspections as required

  • Attend monthly sales meetings 

  • Attend to all sales and marketing department mail and maintain a correspondence data base

  • Assist with direct mail campaigns

  • Statistical collation and reporting 

  • Maintain filing systems (manual and electronic)

  • Maintenance and management of data base

  • Assist with promotions and familiarizations where requested

  • Organize Trade shows, functions and exhibitions where applicable and advised by Superiors

  • Assist with compilation of annual budgets, business plan and regular action plans

  • Assist with tender submissions

  • Work with other IHG properties and assist superiors including regional sales personnel to sell their properties

  • Stock control of collateral

  • Maintain and update promotional flyers

  • Maintain stock of printed material

  • Co-ordinate and maintain supply of corporate gifts and promotional item

  • Assist with the preparation of new products and services

  • Assist with the planning and development of promotional strategies and marketing plans for the Resort

  • Distributes sales leads

  • Work in line with business needs

  • Be responsible in keeping our property safe and secure, to participate in any Resort activity related to Fire Life safety

  • Be a friendly face and helping hand to our guests 

  • Other ad-hoc duties – unexpected moments when we have to pull together to get a task done

  • May assist with other duties as assigned by management
