Key Responsibilities Sales & Business Development
- Identify, develop, and manage new and existing accounts to achieve hotel revenue goals.
- Proactively pursue new business opportunities within assigned segments (Corporate, MICE, Leisure, Government, or OTA).
- Develop strong relationships with key clients, travel agents, event organizers, and corporate decision-makers.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and contracts in line with brand and pricing standards.
- Conduct regular account reviews to ensure business potential is maximized.
- Represent the hotel at local and international trade shows, networking events, and client functions as required.
- Maintain accurate and updated client information in IHG sales systems (e.g., Delphi or Opera S&C).
- Track and report key performance metrics, pipeline activity, and conversion ratios.
- Collaborate with the Revenue Management team to optimize yield and ensure the best business mix.
- Ensure all sales activities are aligned with hotel’s strategic goals and IHG commercial priorities.
- Work closely with the Sales & Marketing team, Events team, and Revenue department to convert leads into confirmed bookings.
- Coordinate with Operations teams to ensure seamless event execution and client satisfaction.
- Support marketing campaigns and promotional initiatives designed to increase market visibility and drive revenue.
- Maintain close communication with IHG Sales Offices and sister properties for cross-selling opportunities.
- Ensure professional and timely responses to client inquiries and requests.
- Conduct site inspections and hotel presentations with a high level of product knowledge and hospitality.
- Monitor post-event feedback and follow-up to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
- Represent the InterContinental brand with sophistication and integrity in all business dealings.

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or Hospitality Management.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in hotel sales within the luxury or upscale segment.
- Strong local market knowledge and client network in Chiang Mai and Northern Thailand preferred.
- Excellent English and Thai communication skills (written and verbal).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel sales systems (Delphi, Opera S&C, etc.).
- Dynamic, proactive, and passionate about delivering outstanding results.
