Duties and Responsibilities

As In Room Dining Supervisor, I will support the In Room Dining Manager and assume responsibility for the efficient operation in the following:

  • Supervise the In Room Dining team.
  • Review bookings and plan for the smooth department operation during shift.
  • Engage in the operations throughout service and provide support to the team where required.
  • Implement and maintain guest recognition program, taking special care with food likes and dislikes and allergies or special dietary requests.
  • Assist in scheduling, training and providing feedback to In Room Dining & Minibar team.
  • Handle guest feedback, inquiries, and comments, logging them and initiating appropriate action and follow up.
  • Assist in the control of the outlet operational budget, ensuring that all costs are strictly controlled maximizing profitability.
  • Have a good knowledge of all outlet menus (food and wine) and F&B day to day activities.
  • Strictly adhere to LQA standards and guest comments.

Qualifications

To execute the position of In Room Dining Supervisor, I must have the required qualifications, technical skills and experience in a similar role in luxury hotels with proven results and includes the following:

  • High school diploma or equivalent and at least 2 year’s experience in a similar operational role. Hospitality diploma/degree from a recognized hospitality school is preferred.
  • Familiar with Food and Beverage terminology, application, operation, wine service, costs, menu development food and hygiene codes and controlling inventory
  • Fluent in English; I understand that additional languages are preferred.
