The Room Attendant is responsible for ensuring guest rooms and assigned public areas are cleaned, maintained, and presented to Crowne Plaza and IHG brand standards, creating a comfortable and welcoming environment for all guests.
YOUR DAY-TO-DAY:
- Clean and service guest rooms, bathrooms, and balconies according to hotel standards
- Make beds, change linens, and replace towels and guest amenities
- Dust, vacuum, mop floors, and clean furniture, fixtures, and fittings
- Replenish minibar items, tea/coffee supplies, and in-room amenities
- Report maintenance issues, damages, or lost-and-found items promptly
- Follow hotel procedures for guest requests and special instructions
- Ensure proper handling and use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Maintain cleanliness of corridors, service areas, and housekeeping trolleys
- Respect guest privacy and confidentiality at all times
- Comply with health, safety, and hygiene regulations
- Support sustainability and environmental initiatives of the hotel
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:
- Previous experience as a Room Attendant or in housekeeping preferred
- Basic understanding of cleaning procedures and safety standards
- Ability to work efficiently with attention to detail
- Good time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physically fit to perform cleaning duties (standing, bending, lifting)
- Basic English communication skills (Arabic is an advantage)
