Role Purpose

The Revenue Analyst is an essential part of the Revenue Analytics team. You will be responsible for deriving data-driven insights to help guide revenue strategy to support better decisions across the business 

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing strategic support to the Area Director of Revenue, General Managers, and Sales & Marketing team through strategic business insight. This role is based out of InterContinental Indianapolis and will be supporting two additional properties remotely. 

Key Responsibilities

•    Complete and analyze daily and weekly pace, distribute with insightful commentary to the executive team.
•    Monitor 365 reservation activity and pick up and inventory changes.
•    Analyze 90 – 365-day Pricing Strategy and implement necessary pricing/distribution channel adjustments.
•    Prepare daily pace pick-up reports, reservations activity reports, weekly yield sheets, and weekly STAR reports.
•    Review DSR report from accounting; evaluate adjustments, complimentary rooms, no-show revenue capture etc.
•    Assist in ad hoc reporting, Restaurant RM related reporting, and load any promotional rates as directed by Area Revenue Managers or DOR.
•    Support weekly and monthly forecasting.
•    Prepare weekly 14-18 day forecasts for the Hotel Operations team
•    Maintain STR and Monday report data submission.
•    Assist in completing and submitting Kimpton monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports
•    Attend weekly regional call and bi-monthly Hotel Revenue Management & Distribution team call with Home Office.
•    Submit property occupancy, ADR, and revenue statistics by market segment into Daystar extranet.
•    Complete production reports and ownership report monthly.
•    Additional projects and responsibilities may be assigned as needed.


Weekly:

•    Complete 17 day forecast for Hotel Operations Team.
•    Participate in the Yield Meeting as requested.
•    Attend staff meetings, morning meetings, and sales meetings in rotation with Area DORM.
•    Ensure parity on 3rd party channels.
•    Monitor wholesale activity and prepare stop selling calendars for review by Area DORM.
•    Assist Area DORM in 30-60-90 forecast updates and any other special projects assigned.

Monthly:

•    Prepare the month-end Sales/Production Report. 
•    Prepare and complete month end owner reports as well as reports for internal use.
 

Quarterly:

•    Review hotel website (hotel information, images and packages).
•    Attend 1 - 2 Partner Meetings (TravelClick, Expedia, CVB, etc. when necessary).
•    Review Guest Connect booking process, rate availability, property descriptions, sequencing, room descriptions, rate descriptions, image content, etc.
 

Skills & Experiences We Are Seeking:

•    1-2 years' experience in Reservations, Sales, or Revenue Management. 
•    Bachelor’s Degree is preferred. 
•    Previous Revenue Management in Hotels required.
•    Strong analytical and quantitative skills and experience with interpreting data.
•    Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
•    Well organized and detail-oriented, with a high sense of accountability and integrity.
•    Ambitious with high initiative and results oriented.
•    Strong team focus with excellent problem-solving ability.
•    A great teammate that is able to grow and maintain the IHG overall values of the organization!
•    Exceptional communication, time management, and math skills. 
 

Pay Rate:

Pay range is $26 - $31 hourly.
