As the Restaurant Manager at Kimpton Tsim Sha Tsui Hong Kong, you will create an exciting, innovative, and memorable dining experience for all guests. Lead a well-rounded and knowledgeable front-of-house team. Proper guest service requires a staff that is thoroughly trained in service etiquette, product knowledge, and makes every effort to meet the needs of each and every guest.

A little taste of your day-to-day

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:

  • Overseeing daily operations of our all-day dining restaurant with poise and precision

  • Driving team engagement and guest satisfaction during high-volume services

  • Engaging with guests daily to gather feedback and refine the guest experience

  • Analyzing guest feedback and operational data to drive continuous improvement

  • Partnering with the culinary team to deliver seasonal, story-driven menus

  • Ensuring consistent execution of service standards and guest touchpoints

  • Supporting recruitment, training, and performance development of the service team.

 

What we need from you

  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in the food and beverage industry, with at least 2 years in managing all day dining or high volume restaurants

  • A bachelor’s degree in in hospitality management, restaurants, culinary management or equivalent

  • A holder of local Hygiene Manager Certificate and/or Food Safety and Hygiene certification

  • Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team

  • Good planning, organising and problem solving skills

  • Ability to stay composed under pressure and lead by example

  • Passion for storytelling through food and service

  • Familiarity with luxury or lifestyle hotel standards is a plus

  • Excellent command in English speaking and writing; speaking Chinese and/or other languages is an advantage

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
