Adelaide's award winning Japanese Teppanyaki Restaurant - Shiki - are seeking an experienced and dynamic restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations. As the Restaurant manager of Shiki Japanese Restaurant you could be leading the charge to ensure our guests enjoy a truly memorable experience. Reporting directly to the Director of Food and Beverage our ideal candidate will be a strong leader in their own right. 
 
Every day is different, but you’ll mostly:
● Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service setting high standards and finding new ways to exceed them.
● Lead the implmentation of Shiki's evolution including updating the restaurants concept and customer experience.
● Lead, train, and manage a team of front-of-house staff.
● Manage food and beverage standards to deliver against our commitment to responsible business practices.
● Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and courteous manner.
● Manage scheduling and payroll for restaurant staff according to predetermined hotel budgets.
● Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and restaurant performance.
● A unique opportunity in the hotel industry with set opening days Tuesday through Saturday Evening.
 

 
What We need from you:
● Ability to look foward and play a pivitol role contriubtiong to the next stage of Shiki's evolution. 
● 4+ years’ related experience, as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar leadership role
● Proficiency with restaurant management software, table management reservations systems and POS systems.
● Excellent communication, leadership, and customer service skills.
● Abilitiy to speak to restaurant financial indicies ie average cheq.
● Flxibility to lead each service period and contribute to hotel operations if required. 
● Passion for Japanese cuisine and culture is a plus!
