As Resort Manager, you will oversee and direct all aspects of hotel operations, including Rooms and Food & Beverage. This includes Guest Services, Club InterContinental, Housekeeping, Laundry, Recreation and Spa, Marine & Security, and all Food & Beverage outlets and services.  This role is second-in-command at a full-service property with multiple outlets and complex operations. These may include multiple buildings, diverse facilities, intricate owner relationships, competitive market pressures, and labour challenges.

 

Your day to day

  • The Resort Manager is responsible for the overall day-to-day operations of the resort, ensuring that all departments deliver an exceptional guest experience while achieving operational efficiency and financial performance targets.  This role provides strategic and hands-on leadership to operational Department Heads, ensuring seamless coordination across all service areas.
  • The Resort Manager acts as the key operational leader, supporting the General Manager in driving excellence, profitability, and guest satisfaction.
  • Support the development and execution of Strategic, Marketing, and Budget plans to optimize guest satisfaction, revenue, and profitability.  Lead recognition programs and promotional campaigns to maximize market visibility and patronage
  • The Resort Manager plays a pivotal role in developing talent within the organization by driving leadership growth, training initiatives, and succession planning to build a strong internal pipeline for future management roles.
     

What we need from you

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, Business Administration, or related field 
  • Minimum 3 years in a senior operations role or prior General Manager experience
  • Proven track record in managing multi-department operations and leading diverse teams.   
  • Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets and cost controls
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills with the ability to navigate competitive and complex environments
  • Guest-centric mindset with a passion for the destination lifestyle, attention to detail and a deep commitment to creating experiences guests will treasure.
