Reservations & Revenue Intern | InterContinental Cascais-Estoril

As a Reservations & Revenue Intern, you will learn the strategic side of hospitality. You will support the team in managing the hotel's inventory and pricing strategy to maximize total revenue. This role involves direct guest interaction (handling bookings) and "behind-the-scenes" data analysis to understand market trends and competitor behavior.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to the Revenue Manager in handling reservation inquiries, modifications, and cancellations via phone and email, ensuring service excellence at every guest touchpoint.
• Actively identify guest preferences and needs, recommending tailored room options and services that reflect the standards of a luxury hospitality experience.
• Accurately manage, update, and analyze reservation data within the hotel’s systems, contributing to informed revenue and availability decisions.
• Assist in monitoring and managing hotel inventory across all distribution channels to ensure accuracy, availability, and alignment with revenue strategy.
• Support the control and optimization of Online Travel Agencies (OTAs), including rate parity checks, availability updates, and promotion loading.
• Contribute to revenue meetings by preparing reports, forecasts, and performance insights, and participating in discussions with the management team.
• Provide pricing and demand-based recommendations to the Revenue Manager, supporting daily rate decisions and strategic planning.
