We’re looking for a dynamic, commercially astute, and relationship-focused Regional General Manager to helm one of IHG’s flagship operations in the Middle East. Located in the heart of CAIRO the iconic CityStars complex, this high-profile cluster includes three renowned properties — InterContinental (822 rooms), Holiday Inn (311 rooms), and Staybridge Suites (140 rooms, with 62 suites opening soon) — alongside 20+ food & beverage venues and expansive meeting & events spaces. The role will cover EGYPT and 2 hotels in Africa.

Your Day-to-Day: Where Scale Meets Strategy

• Drive Performance Across the Region: Lead the delivery of strong commercial outcomes while safeguarding the luxury positioning of InterContinental and the distinct brand DNA of Holiday Inn and Staybridge Suites.
• Be the Strategic Partner Owners Trust: Build and sustain robust, collaborative relationships with our influential ownership group—ensuring alignment, transparency, and shared success.
• Lead with Vision and Agility: Model inclusive and empowering leadership while guiding large senior teams across numerous hotels with confidence, patience, and decisive action.
• Champion Guest-Centric Innovation: Embrace digital transformation and service personalisation to elevate the guest journey, enhance satisfaction, and grow brand equity.
• Position the Cluster as Cairo’s Market Leader: Navigate a competitive landscape by building bold commercial strategies and developing a loyal following—both local and international.

What We Need from You

We're offering an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Area General Manager to step up into a high-impact Regional General Manager role. If you're a strategic leader with a proven track record, this is your moment to lead on a broader scale and drive regional success.

• Big-Box & Multi-Brand Expertise: Proven track record leading complex, high-volume hotels (500+ rooms) with embedded leadership and cross-functional synergy teams.
• MEA Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of Middle Eastern operations—Egypt experience highly advantageous.
• Strong Stakeholder Management: A diplomatic, results-oriented communicator with experience managing high-profile owner relationships.
• Luxury Mindset with Operational Grit: Comfortable navigating luxury brand standards while overseeing large-scale logistics and diverse guest segments.
• Language Skills: Fluency in English is essential: Arabic would be advantageous
