Job Summary:
The Recruitment Manager is responsible for leading the full-cycle recruitment process for all departments within the resort, ensuring the highest standards of talent acquisition aligned with luxury hospitality expectations. This role oversees sourcing, screening, hiring, onboarding, and employer branding initiatives. The Recruitment Manager partners closely with department heads and HR leadership to ensure the resort attracts and retains exceptional talent who embody our service culture.
A little bit about your day:
- Reporting to the Director of People & Culture, every day is different, but you’ll mostly:
- Manage full‑cycle recruitment for all hourly, management, and specialty roles.
- Partner with department leaders to define staffing needs and ideal candidate profiles.
- Create, post, and maintain job descriptions across approved platforms.
- Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and coordinate department interviews.
- Maintain high‑touch, luxury‑level candidate communication and experience.
- Oversee reference checks, background checks, and pre‑employment requirements.
- Track key recruitment metrics, including time‑to‑fill and applicant flow.
- Build and maintain partnerships with hospitality schools and community organizations.
- Represent the resort’s culture and employer brand across digital platforms and job boards.
- Organize and participate in career fairs, hiring events, and school outreach.
- Facilitate seamless onboarding, including pre‑arrival communication and first‑day coordination.
- Ensure new hires are integrated into orientation and training programs.
- Maintain compliance with company policies, state regulations, and industry standards.
- Keep accurate applicant records within the ATS and monitor workflow efficiency.
- Provide hiring insights and labor‑market trends to P&C leadership.
- Support workforce planning and collaborate with leaders to ensure consistent hiring practices.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on recruitment strategy for the P&C department.
- Assist and participate in all P&C activities as needed.
What we need from you:
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in recruitment, preferably within hospitality or luxury service environments.
- Strong understanding of full‑cycle recruitment, interviewing techniques, and talent pipeline development.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship‑building skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- High level of professionalism and commitment to confidentiality.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, and Canva.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Open to relocation across the U.S. to support career development and operational needs.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and when major city-wide events or pacing require.
What you can expect from us:
The annual pay range for this role is $83,000.00 to $88,000.00. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed at Regent Santa Monica Beach. This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s Bonus Plan.
