Guest Experience & Services
Supervise and coordinate all guest recreation activities (e.g., pool, beach, fitness, kids’ club, sports, wellness programs).
Ensure all guests are welcomed warmly and provided with clear information on available activities and facilities.
Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and complaints professionally and promptly.
Assist in designing and promoting engaging recreational programs tailored to diverse guest demographics (families, children, couples, groups).
Team Leadership & TrainingSupervise recreation attendants, lifeguards, and activity coordinators.
Conduct daily briefings and ensure team members are well-informed of schedules, safety procedures, and guest preferences.
Train staff on safety protocols, guest service, and activity facilitation.
Monitor staff performance, provide coaching, and foster a positive work environment.
Operations & SafetyEnsure the safety of guests using recreational facilities through strict adherence to safety and hygiene standards.
Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of pools, fitness areas, kids’ clubs, and other recreational facilities.
Manage equipment inventory, usage, and timely replacement or repairs.
Ensure compliance with local regulations related to health, safety, and recreation.
Administration & CoordinationPrepare staff schedules and ensure sufficient coverage during peak times.
Coordinate with other departments (F&B, Housekeeping, Engineering, Spa) to support guest activities and special events.
Monitor participation rates, collect guest feedback, and recommend improvements to the Recreation Manager.
Assist in budgeting, cost control, and revenue generation for the Recreation department.
Qualifications & RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Sports Management, or related field (preferred).
Minimum 2–3 years of recreation, leisure, or hospitality experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of recreational activities, sports, and wellness programs.
First Aid, CPR, or Lifeguard certification (preferred).
Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are an advantage.
Guest-oriented, proactive, and able to work under pressure.
