A little taste of your day-to-day:

  • Transforms operating forecasts into detailed material requirement plans, establishing standard stock and reorder levels in collaboration with department heads and management, ensuring optimized inventory.
  • Actively participates in negotiations for service contracts, identifies and develops reliable supply sources, and implements storage solutions to protect inventory and minimize store value, emphasizing financial responsibility.
  • Manages daily team activities, plans and assigns work, sets performance and development goals, and provides mentoring and coaching to enhance team member performance and address conflicts.
  • Conducts HR functions including interviewing, hiring, orientation, performance appraisal, and disciplinary actions, consulting with HR and general management to ensure appropriate staffing and productivity.
  • Promotes teamwork and quality service through consistent communication and coordination with key department heads, ensuring staff has the necessary information, tools, and market data to achieve hotel goals. 

What We need from you:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Hospitality, or a related field is required, with professional certification in purchasing or supply chain management preferred.
  • The role requires 4-8 years of experience in procurement or purchasing, with at least one year in a managerial or supervisory capacity.
  • Key responsibilities include overseeing the procurement process, negotiating contracts, and managing vendor relationships to ensure timely delivery of supplies.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills are essential, along with the ability to monitor budgets and implement cost-saving initiatives.
  • Fluency in the local language(s) is required, and knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
