What's the job

As a Porter, you will support guest arrivals and departures, coordinate guest car parking, ensure the safe handling and delivery of luggage, and assist all guests with enquiries while helping them navigate the hotel’s facilities.

Your day to day

  • Deliver exceptional guest service by welcoming guests, assisting with enquiries, providing directions and transport options, escorting guests and their luggage, and ensuring smooth arrivals and departures.
  • Support hotel operations through safe valet parking, maintaining cleanliness of lobby and driveway areas, managing guest mail and messages, and following key security and grooming standards.
  • Maintain strong hotel and local knowledge including daily activities, in-house events, room and outlet facilities, and key city attractions to provide personalized recommendations and enhance the guest experience.

What we need from you

  • Look smart – wear your uniform with pride 
  • Demonstrated ability to interact with customers, employees and third parties that reflects highly on the hotel, the brand and the company.
  • Ability to be on your feet most of the day, with lots of bending and kneeling.
  • Ability to lift, push and pull big objects like luggage, bags, and parcels up to 50lbs (23 kg)
  • Problem solving, reasoning, motivating, organizational and training abilities.
  • Good Communication and writing skills
  • Communicating with the other departments to make all guests stays better
  • Driver License
