This role serves as the key liaison between payroll operations, corporate HR, Finance, and IHG-managed properties to ensure seamless payroll execution. The Payroll Operations and Governance Lead is responsible for driving process improvements, ensuring compliance, and supporting timely, accurate payroll processing through strong collaboration and communication.
Your day to day
- Lead Payroll Operations: Oversee day-to-day payroll activities to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant payroll processing while maintaining high standards of operational efficiency and accountability.
- Serve as Payroll Liaison & Subject-Matter Expert: Act as the primary contact between internal teams and external partners, providing guidance on payroll processes, resolving issues, and ensuring clear, effective communication.
- Ensure Compliance & Drive Process Improvements: Collaborate with HR and Finance to maintain compliance with labor laws and internal policies, while identifying and implementing opportunities to enhance payroll efficiency and accuracy.
What we need from you
- Bachelor's Degree in Technology or a relevant field of work or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.
- 6+ years experience working in Enterprise Data Management, Information Governance, Process Improvement, or Information Technology.
- 3+ years experience with Policy creation, management, and enablement.
- Working knowledge of Data Security, Privacy, and Data Retention Principles
- Working knowledge of System Development Life Cycle and various development methodologies.
- Working knowledge of dashboarding and KPI development.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to take complex information and present it to all levels and across functions within the company.
- Experience with Metadata Management/Data Cataloging a plus.
- Experience with Data Quality Principles and methods a plus.
- Highly organized and self-starter.
Location - Our hybrid work structure is an expectation of three (3) days in the ATLANTA office. This expectation may be adjusted to evolve with the changing needs of the business.

The salary range for this role is $58,844 to $120,000. This role is also eligible for bonus pay. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401K and other benefits to employees.
