Each experience is enriched by a lifestyle setting, you will drive our hosts to deliver exceptional service, creating rich and personal experiences that will create the “voco Life” for our guests. Responsible for hotel building paintings and decorations, furniture, masonry, upholstery, and other engineering repair and maintenance works.
- Proper handling of engineering repair and maintenance supplies and materials.
- Proper planning and implementation of Engineering Maintenance Schedule in terms of Carpentry, Painting and Masonry maintenance, and other areas to avoid breakdowns and damages.
- Immediate action to the problem in terms of repairs and breakdowns.
- Ensure that all buildings, painting and decorations, furniture, masonry, and upholstery are presentable according to the standard of the hotel and well maintained.
- Coordinate with Team Leader Duty Engineer or Maintenance Engineer regarding the works schedule and get proper instructions concerning the assigned jobs.
- Ensure that all the Engineering Operational Procedures are well and properly followed under the supervision of the Team Leader, Duty Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, or Chief Engineer.
- Submit necessary reports required by Team Leader, Duty Engineer, or Maintenance Engineer.
- Coordinates with concerned departments or sections in a courteous and efficient manner before work implementation to be done.
- Any problems concerning carpentry, paintings, and masonry works must be immediately reported to Team Leader, Duty Engineer, or Maintenance Engineer and conduct necessary actions.
- Ensure the availability of spare parts and materials at all times.
- Ensure that property and equipment are maintained in safe and efficient operating condition.
- Be a part of the Energy Conservation Program of the Hotel
- To ensure the safety and satisfaction of the guests.
- To keep hospitality and good relationships with the guest at all times.
- To attend guest requests and requirements as quick as possible.
What we need from you
The ideal candidate will have experience in hospitality, and leadership working in a hotel with multiple restaurants with 2 years of related experience in the same role. A true “team-player” mentality and flexible attitude towards a diverse set of tasks. Have the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and/or holidays. A naturally outgoing and friendly personality with a passion for service excellence to consistently deliver and demonstrate voco® service standards.
