A little bit about you day-to-day
This role has the overall responsibility in supervising the Front Office operations and in relieving the Night Audit function two nights per week.
Each day is different but mostly you will
- Ensure staff is properly trained including service expectations, hotel facilities and services, local directions, property management and reservations systems safety and emergency procedures, etc.
- Assist with auditing procedures.
- Monitor performance and recommend corrective or disciplinary action.
- Alert management potentially serious issues.
- Up-Sell rooms where possible to maximize hotel revenue.
- Accurately process all cash and credit card transactions in accordance with established procedures including but not limited to posting all charges, completing cashier or other reports, preparing deposit, and counting/security assigned bank.
What we need from you
Minimum of one year front office/guest relations experience, including some supervisory training/experience.
Degree in hospitality or related field is preferred.
Will be required to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays.
What we offer
The hourly pay range for this role is $35.00 to $38.00.
This position is eligible for bonus pay.
