We’re looking for an Operations Manager to support our hotel in delivering exceptional service and a seamless guest journey - from check in, to check-out.
A little taste of your day-to-day:
Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:
- Leading and developing the Front Office team to deliver exceptional guest experiences every time. This involves daily management of the Front Office team - including rostering, timesheets and recruitment of Front Office colleagues.
- Overseeing Housekeeping and Food & Beverage operations, supporting the Leaders to ensure excellent service.
- Driving cross-department collaboration, creating a seamless guest journey from check-in to check-out.
- Reviewing all guest feedback, identifying opportunities to elevate the overall guest experience.
- Monitoring service standards and quality, ensuring rooms, public areas, and all Food & Beverage offerings exceed expectations, working with the Leaders of these departments to implement improvements as needed.
- Identifying training needs across the property and ensuring training opportunities both inhouse and regionally are presented to team members as required.
- Ensuring all Holiday Inn brand standards are consistently met and maintained.
- Creating a positive and productive team environment, empowering your people to perform at their best.
- Coaching and mentoring department leaders to develop skills, ensure consistency, and support career growth.
- Conducting regular inspections across Front Office, public areas, and other guest touchpoints
- Leading our IHG One Rewards experience, ensuring targets are met and exceeded, creating unique ways to ensure our members are recognised throughout their stay
- Maintaining compliance and safety, ensuring all hotel policies, procedures, and guidelines are adhered to.
This is a unique opportunity, ideal for someone with a strong Rooms background who’s keen to broaden their experience across Food & Beverage operations.
- Bachelor’s degree, higher education qualification or equivalent in Hotel Administration or Business Administration will be held in high regard
- Four years of guest service/hotel experience with two years in a management capacity, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
- Vast OPERA knowledge is preferred
- Proven experience leading, developing and motivating teams and leaders
