Masseuse / Massage Therapist

Position Summary:
A Masseuse (Massage Therapist) is responsible for providing professional massage and body treatments to clients in a safe, comfortable, and relaxing environment. The role involves assessing client needs, delivering personalized treatments, and promoting overall wellness while maintaining high standards of customer service and hygiene.

Provide a wide range of massage services such as Swedish, deep tissue, aromatherapy, hot stone, or other specialized treatments depending on training.

Consult with clients to understand their health concerns, preferences, and treatment goals.

Tailor massage techniques to meet individual client needs and ensure therapeutic effectiveness.

Maintain a clean, organized, and relaxing treatment room at all times.

Follow all sanitation, safety, and health guidelines.

Recommend after-care treatments, wellness advice, and suitable products when appropriate.

Manage appointment schedules and keep accurate client records.

Uphold a professional, friendly, and welcoming attitude with all clients.

Participate in continuous training and development to enhance skills.

Collaborate with other wellness professionals as needed.

Certification or diploma in Massage Therapy from an accredited institution.

Valid state or national massage license (if required by location).

Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and various massage modalities.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Ability to provide a calm and relaxing environment.

Physical stamina and the ability to perform massage services for extended periods.
