Manager, Field Marketing, South East Asia and Korea owns hotel marketing support and communication with focus on providing IHG marketing tools, training, best practices, and other tactical solutions. This position aims to develop hotel marketing capabilities that support hotel commercial performance. The position is also the main interface for hotel marketing community on campaign execution and project management closely collaborating with Campaign Management Team and Digital & Omni Channel Team who owns such campaigns and projects. 
 

Key Accountabilities

  • Strategy, planning and execution for:
    • Providing IHG marketing tools, training, best practices, and other tactical solutions to the hotels;
    • Developing and managing hotel marketing capability and enhancement; and
    • Developing and managing hotel marketing community and forum.
       
  • Act as the main interface to the hotel marketing teams.
    • Owns hotel communication for central marketing campaigns and projects.  

 

Critical Expertise, Experience and Educational Attainment Required
 

Basic qualifications
 

  • 7+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience.
  • Extensive digital marketing experience with consumer facing brands, including integrated campaign management, customer acquisition, promotions, and/or channel marketing.
  • Marketing or related program management experience with track record of program quality assurance and enhancement.  
  • Business management experience in global company with multiple overseas stakeholders.
  • English in business proficiency.

 

Preferred qualifications
 

  • Experience and deep knowledge in hotel marketing.
  • Experience and deep knowledge in new hotel opening business process.
  • Team management experience.

 

Successful candidate


A successful marketing manager will have a strong Ownership to deliver what is the most relevant to the hotels, Strategic and Analytical skills to identify marketing community enhancement opportunities, attention to Details and obsession to Quality of the hotel marketing initiatives, excellent Communication skills to be the main interface to the hotels, represent the central marketing team, and conduct complex business discussion with manager, team, and leadership
