Purpose
To be responsible for delivering the execution of Procurement’s digital strategy that utilises leading solutions to deliver elements of the digital ecosystem that drive user-centricity, efficiency, value and increased capability. Support the project implementation of such solutions and drive value for hotels, hotel owners, and corporate colleagues.
Key Responsibilities
•Support development of in-market Hotel digital strategy to increase systems, capabilities, efficiencies to help enable the regional Procurement programmes, deliver owner returns and provide the required controls
•Ability to articulate and sell benefits of digital systems to hotels and suppliers
•Implementation of regional Hotel Digital Solutions into hotels and be accountable for results
•Manages selection, implementation and ongoing management of Hotel systems architecture and related solutions, utilising leading third parties, working in collaboration with Digital Director and Global Process Owner
•Support embedding and adoption of global process and digital S2C & SM solutions in the regional procurement teams
•Work closely with Procurement Excellence, digital team and other internal stakeholder / users to capture and assess for enhancement prioritisation all digital requirements , ensuring the digital ecosystem continues to be class-leading
•Ability to manage projects utilising PMO structure, be able to prioritise multiple stakeholder needs, and advise on continuous solution improvements.
•Own stakeholder and supplier relationships.
Educational Attainment:
•Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Supply Chain is preferred. Other related fields with an equivalent combination of education and experience are acceptable as well.
Critical Expertise & Experience:
•2-5 years + managing digital solutions, ideally for Procurement (S2P systems)
•Experience supporting supply chain or procurement operations
•1-3 years of consulting or in sales environment
•Understanding of end to end software configuration requirements of P2P systems and tools
•Ideally real-world implementation of systems, data solutions,, for Procurement or capability to accelerated learn these technologies
•Excellent process and continuous improvement capability, demonstrated through past experience
